KortexHQ uses artificial intelligence to help you think, write and create. This page explains, plainly, what that AI is, what it does and doesn't do, and which outside services are involved.
1. You are talking to AI, not a person
Replies in KortexHQ conversations are generated by AI models. They are not written by a person and not reviewed by a professional. AI is not a doctor, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser or therapist, and it is not an emergency service — if someone may be in danger, contact local emergency services.
2. AI makes mistakes
AI can state wrong facts confidently, invent sources or numbers, miss important context, and give different answers to the same question. KortexHQ does not currently search the live web or check facts for you, so a reply is not verified research unless you verify it. Please review anything important before you rely on it. We don't promise that any output is accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.
3. What the AI features do today
- Conversations: answers your messages in a saved conversation, using the style and decisions you chose, and reads screenshots or text files you attach.
- Images: creates new images from a description and edits an image you choose, saving each version privately.
- ManyChat drafting: helps you write ManyChat flows that you can edit, copy and export. It is labelled “Prepared in Kortex — Not connected to ManyChat.”
- Imports: reads ChatGPT transcripts you paste or upload so you can continue them. Attachments, memory and tools from ChatGPT do not transfer.
- Prompt Village: browsing and opening a tool uses no AI; a tool only prepares a draft, and nothing is sent until you press Send. Some Village creation experiences use the image features above.
- Assistant connection (when available): lets an outside AI assistant you approve search Prompt Village and read your own saved conversations. It is read-only and can't send messages, spend credits or change anything.
4. What it does not do
- It does not access your email, calendar, ManyChat account, social accounts or other apps, and it does not send messages or publish anything for you — even when a Prompt Village tool's name describes building an assistant or campaign.
- It does not listen: there is no voice feature and no microphone access.
- It does not generate video. Moving Prompt Village covers are still images with gentle motion added, not AI video.
- It does not keep working in the background after you leave, beyond finishing a request you already sent.
- It does not see your whole library — only the conversation and attachments described in our Privacy Notice.
5. Which services process your requests

OpenAI's published guidance for its business API says API data is not used to train its models unless the customer opts in, and that some data may be kept for a limited time for abuse monitoring. Our requests also ask the model not to store conversation state, but that setting does not mean nothing is retained. Requests reach OpenAI through the Lovable AI Gateway, whose own contract settings we are still confirming, so we do not promise more than that here. Consumer ChatGPT terms do not apply to KortexHQ requests.
The company that hosts the website is not the same as the company that runs the AI model. We may route requests to other models or providers in the future; if that changes who receives your information, we will update our policies first. You don't need your own OpenAI key, and a ChatGPT Plus or other personal subscription doesn't give KortexHQ any access to your accounts.
6. Images of people and products
AI image editing can change faces, bodies, text, logos and product details, sometimes in ways you didn't ask for. Only use photos you own or have permission to use, and get agreement from people who are recognizable. Don't present an edited or generated image as an unaltered photo, or as an endorsement by a person or brand. Prompt Village covers are illustrations, not examples of results you will get.
