Data Rights & Deletion

Version
0.1-draft
Draft prepared
October 12, 2026
Effective date
Not set — not yet effective

You can ask to see, copy, correct or delete the information KortexHQ holds about you, or to limit how it is used. This page explains how, what to expect, and what deletion does and doesn't cover. You don't need to be signed in.

1. Make a request

Choose a request below. Each link opens a pre-filled email in your own email app — nothing is sent until you send it yourself. Include only what's asked; please don't send ID documents, passwords or payment details.

Prefer mail? Write to AiMasterminds LLC, 1333 N Buffalo Dr, Suite 210, Las Vegas, NV 89128, United States. Locked out of your account? Email us from the address you signed up with, or tell us that address, and we'll work out another way to confirm it's you.

2. How we confirm it's you

To protect your account, we confirm requests in a way that fits the request — usually by replying to your account email and asking you to confirm. For sensitive requests, like deleting an account or receiving a copy of its contents, we may ask one or two questions only the account holder would know. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission; we may still confirm with you directly.

3. Kinds of deletion

  • Work on this device: on-device projects, files, notes and preferences can be deleted by you right now in Settings, or by clearing this site's data in your browser. This is immediate and permanent, and we can't recover it.
  • Items in your account: the app doesn't yet let you delete saved conversations, uploads or created images yourself. Ask us and we'll delete the items you name.
  • Your whole account: deletes your sign-in and the content saved in it. There is no one-click delete button yet; we handle this by request. Before we close the account, we cancel any active membership so you are not charged again.
  • Copies outside KortexHQ: files you downloaded and anything you shared with others are outside our control.

Before deleting, save anything you want to keep — created images can be downloaded, and conversation text can be selected and copied from the page, or you can ask us for a copy.

Health-related details you chose to share, such as allergies in a meal plan, are covered by these same requests; see our Consumer Health Data Privacy draft.

4. What may be kept after deletion

  • Payment, invoice, credit and usage records needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention or disputes.
  • Records of the request itself, so we can show it was handled.
  • Information we must keep by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
  • Provider backups, until they are overwritten in the normal course; we won't restore deleted content from them except to recover from an incident.

We keep these only as long as their purpose requires, and we don't use them for anything else. Information already sent to an AI provider for a past request is governed by that provider's retention; where we can ask a provider to delete something, we will.

5. How long it takes

We aim to respond promptly and always within the deadline set by the law that applies to you. If we need more time where the law allows it, we'll tell you why and when to expect a reply. If we can't do what you asked, we'll explain why and how to appeal.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example in California, Nevada, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — you may have legal rights to these requests and to complain to a data-protection regulator. We will not treat you differently for making a request. See the Privacy Notice for details, and the Billing policy to cancel a membership without deleting your account.
